Is it true that Thailand is extremely unsafe and dangerous for tourists?
Thailand is completely safe for tourists as long as you don't go out of the way or purposely engage in criminal activities. People are out there on the streets of Bangkok till 3 o'clock in the night and in Pattaya, the city never sleeps! You can walk out of your hotel room at 2 o'clock in the night, walk to the nearest 7-Eleven store, grab a bottle of beer, and come back to your room. You won't feel unsafe for a single second.
